YES this. It's a very cohesively heavy album, one of my favs now, although i miss ballads. Although there were more melodic songs that were still heavy.

Ugly is about 7 sins. Also I really recommend watching their latest live dvd DOGMATIC FINAL which has all the songs from the new album and singles, Dogma and Undying including. Fucking epic! I was blessed to see them live last year and I must say it was the best live I have ever been to. You get into that different on drugs like state when you don't really know which songs were played but you headbang as hell and scream and all. Since they had world tour, I again really recommend watching their world tour documentary which was recently subbed by JPU. You can get to know the members more on individual level, how it was for them to hold their very first VIP high touching during this tour or how it was having to cancel one of concerts in South America due to bad weather. Introducing new people into my very beloved band just feels like I am holding their head under water to drown them in all those live, songs, radio shows and facts. xD YOU MUST WATCH THIS AND THAT AND ALSO THAT.
Fun fact; during the recording for the UGLY PV the vocalist Ruki broke two of his ribs. You literally cant go wrong with the new Gazette stuff. They are also just as amazing live! I hope you get the chance to see them live!
:O OMG but at least he didn't endet up as the vocal of another band I really like. Their vocal fallen down some stairs, got a head surgery, went into coma and than had amnesia. His band officially said 2 months ago that he was back after an 8 months rest, but he is still not seen on their new photos... ^^
Oh by the way, they did go to Canada last summer for their second world tour and they loved being there, so there's a chance they could go back! I got the opportunity to see them here in the US last April as well. they played all three of these songs. It was the most incredible experience. They are very humble and kind guys. So keep on the lookout for a third world tour!

I have been listening to The GazettE for almost 20 years. I saw them live in Japan at the Peace & Smile Carnival Tour 2005 at Zepp Tokyo. They always had a heavy sound, at the beginning of their career it was more heavy (but indy style, less polished), then they added a bit more pop-ish sound, then went to dubstep metal, then this. Due to life, I haven't listened to their last few albums. Wifu, Discharge, Maggots, $ocial Riot Machine$, 666, Beautiful 5[shit]ers ... but I realize just now, you can't find or its very hard to find albums before NIL on Spotify and RUclips music.
Reita, the bassist, is the dude chained up in DOGMA xD UGLY is actually based on all of the 7 sins and the people moshing out around them are ACTUAL fans who got to be in the video via this lucky dip kind of thing xD And yeah all of these three vids are connected :3 if you take a look at the three album covers (by Tobias Kwan) they each connect to make a bigger picture :3 The DOGMA "era" ended last year with UNDYING and this year they celebrated their 15th anniversary and released a best of album which I highly recommend, and the mask Reita wore is gone now and his original noseband is back! Omg you probably don't even care about half the shit I'm saying hahaha xD Anyway, most of GazettE's stuff, including their latest finale live and WT documentary are up on iTunes, I love your videos so much and thank you for being so open minded about our community :) we're glad to have you join us ^^
After you've seen Gazetto live you can die with no regrets. I saw them last year on their world tour, and it was the best thing I've ever experienced in my entire life. The love I feel for this band is unreal

Those three are such great songs. The people surrounding the stage during the UGLY pv are actually all fans from their fanclub. It was pretty cool. The band held a raffle contest for fans to enter to be part of the music video. Note: it's too bad you missed their 2016 world tour D: they went to Vancouver and Toronto

I know you uploaded this a while ago but I just wanted to say I appreciate your openness to this kind of music. I live in a rural town where people have closed minds about this kind of stuff and they won't let me show them my favorite band. To see someone reacting to Kai's double kicks or Ruki's amazing singing abilities the same way I do makes me feel warm and fuzzy and I just wanted to say thank you.
the GazettE has been experimenting since around 2012 with new stuff, they went from dubstep to what you just heard. I think they are so versatile, I mean, if you hear their whole discography you'll find out all the genres they can reach. That's why they are my favorite band, haha. Also, please react to lynch.! @MacRyanMac Finally the GazettE already came to US and Canada in Spring 2016! It was definitely the best concert here in NYC! There's a DVD already in stores in Japan or in CdJapan about the live in USA and Canada, it's called 'the GazettE World Tour 16 Documentary Dogmatic -Trois-'.

I've been their fan for 12 years this year and it is just about half of my life.. :D Ugly is one of my favourite songs at the moment and one of my all time favourites are VORTEX, Crucify Sorrow, Naraku and Nakigahara. So glad you like the Dogma trilogy!!! Both songs are great but my favorite among the three songs is still Dogma. For the Gazette's heavy old songs, i strongly recommend Taion (means body temperature in English)!!! (With a creepy MV too) the song was in one of their best album "NIL" and recorded once again in their latest album "Traces 2" (all old songs but new recording) Another song is "burial applicant" with similar story to Taion (love the MV) Dude, i don't always leave comment in English videos (not a native speaker), but your videos are great!!!!! Love your reactions to the music (agree some music are great but the MVs are too creepy...) and your preference is similar to mine as well. See ya next time~
Each album by GazettE has a unique sound. Dogma has thus far been their heaviest, darkest offering. I had VIP tickets to their first US tour last year in NYC and it was worth the years of waiting! They super nice guys too!

While I was watching your reaction I was totally getting goosebumps in my arms 'cause... it made 1 year exactly 2 days ago that I went to see them in Paris. They damn made me to catch a plane for the first time, just to go see them. And seeing your reaction, with the videos playing in the background... oh boy... feelings!!! I could basically teleport myself to that day. Please, go to a show of the GazettE next time they come overseas... or if meanwhile you, somehow, visit Japan! It will worth every single second. Edit: Oh and... yes... Dogma and Undying are linked, no in fact... this is a trilogy... that's why most of us said to you react to those three by this exactly order. ;) But Ugly is like a harsh/sudden 'break' on those two videos, but they are all connected. "Dogma" album, to be honest, side by side with "DIM Scene" one... are their mind-orgasm albums. "DIM Scene" its more deep and melancholic while "Dogma" is violent.
GO and chek out Traces Vol 1 & 2 (Best of but rerecorded versions of old songs) . One is pretty heavy the other is composed of ballads :D . Awesome video as always :D

The reason the third video is a "combination" of the others is because they belonged to a project called "Dark Ager Project" that envolved a full album "Dogma" and two singles, "Ugly" and "Undying" I recommend you to check up the artwork for the three of them since they are connected and linked together. Also if you enjoyed it, check their album, it's full with that sort of music. BTW Ugly is about the seven sins and yes, Dogma is a ritual, the chained guy was Reita, the one with the covered nose. Everyone of them had a role in the video.
I personally love their old school stuff because they debuted around the same time I discovered them so I kind of grew up with the old stuff. especially NIL and Disorder were THE shit back then we were raging over it. and I also have a lot more fond memories trying to get a hold of their albums etc so maybe nostalgia is playing a part here as well:) PS If you love ANYTHING Japanesque I would suggest looking into a band called Kagrra (or they changed it to Kagrra, ). Sadly they disbanded in 2011 but their tunes were amazing

I've seen them live and it was hands down the best experience of my life. I have my boyfriend to thank for showing them to me, about 4 years ago. He's been a fan for a straight 13 years now and I had the amazing privilege of being able to get him to one of their concerts for the first time in his life. They put on an amazing show in San Francisco last year. They actually already toured in Canada and the US last year, I'm so sorry you missed out.

Reita, the bassist doesn't wear the bandana because he doesen't like his nose, he wears it because at firts he was very shy in stage and that kind of things and use to wear a bandana covering from de bottom of his eyes to his neck a bandana or scarf to be mor confident, the feel that nobody now who he was make it easier for him, with the time he use a short bandanas and now is his signature! :33

You should check out more DIR EN GREY, since you only reacted to two songs. Songs like Vinushka (remastered), Lotus and Rinkaku will give you a different impression of them. They're not just a shock act.

I saw them live last May and it was a wonderful show ! The best 200$ I've ever spent lol. They are so beautiful in person and very nice people !I've been listening to The GazettE for about 11 years now and they have definitely contributed a lot to my current style. I even have the last line of Undying tattooed lol.

heyy awesome you checked them out again! The gazette are kinda corner stone of visual kei, so they're definitely worth returning every now and then. Whether they continue with heavy stuff or not remains to be seen. Undying kinda wrapped up their dark age era.
If you love these songs, you should listen to the entire album Dogma and the 2 entire singles Ugly and Undying! I listen to the Gazette (you can also say Gazetto) for more than 10 years and I love the change of style they did throughout their career. Their lives are amazing, maybe you can find some on youtube (I highly recommend NLSG - this one's so good, but I think it's nostalgia talking- and CODA) And for overseas lives, patience is a virtue. I waited 7 years to finally attend one of their live in France. They toured last year too through Europe and America (they came to Toronto if I remember correctly). If you're patient, they may come in 3 years *fingers crossed*.
You should watch some videos of the GazettE live. Ranging from old to new, because you can really hear the development in Ruki's voice. Plus, they're wonderful live

I just want to say that if you are surprised with their videos you will be amazed with their live performance, I saw them last year when they came to Mexico and they are definitely on another level. If you have the opportunity to go to a concert you will not regret anything at all.
the GazettE is my favourite band and honestly I pronounced their name like that for a year when I was like 9. also, conspiracy theory: all of the blood used in Ugly is from Reita being nailed to the cross in Dogma.
This is so late, but whatever. I have seen Gazette live twice. The first time when i was in Japan, the second time when they were in Toronto. They are worth it. Both shows were amazing. If you ever get the chance and feel so inclined: go. You wont regret it.
These pv-s are kind of a same, because they were part of the "Project: Dark Age" and it had 13 movements. Releasing Dogma was the first movement. 3rd was Ugly ( the crows in the pv are actually fans. they havent done a pv with fans since hyena) and 6th was undying. Going overseas also was the part of this stuff. And yeah, they went to the USA, Canada, Europe, South Asia, and finishing with the tour Dogmatic - Another fate. I guess you should buy, or look up the Dogmatic final dvd because these songs are more kick ass live. They just had their 15th anniversary live at Yoyogi Stadium, this march: DAINIPPON ITANGEISHA 「BOUDOUKU GUDON NO SAKURA.... and they promised for an other 15 years..so have fun becoming a sixth gun, because ONCE A SIXTH GUN, ALWAYS A SIXTH GUN.

Love you to death, I don't wan to be me, and My girlfriend's girlfriend are some of my favorites, I think the video for I don't want to be me is pretty funny. If you don't like Goth or Doom metal you probably will not will not like them but they are Definitely worth a shot. They are a really unique band with a unique sound no one really sounds like them. The band broke up after the tragic death of their lead singer and bassist Peter Steele in 2010. The world really lost someone special when he died. In 2011 an oak tree was planed in his memory in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, Ny and fans put messages and tributes to Mr. Steele and many bands created songs and cds dedicated to him. He is still the best singer I have heard so far.

Reita, the bassist, is the dude chained up in DOGMA xD UGLY is actually based on all of the 7 sins and the people moshing out around them are ACTUAL fans who got to be in the video via this lucky dip kind of thing xD And yeah all of these three vids are connected :3 if you take a look at the three album covers (by Tobias Kwan) they each connect to make a bigger picture :3 The DOGMA "era" ended last year with UNDYING and this year they celebrated their 15th anniversary and released a best of album which I highly recommend, and the mask Reita wore is gone now and his original noseband is back! Omg you probably don't even care about half the shit I'm saying hahaha xD Anyway, most of GazettE's stuff, including their latest finale live and WT documentary are up on iTunes, I love your videos so much and thank you for being so open minded about our community :) we're glad to have you join us ^^

After you've seen Gazetto live you can die with no regrets. I saw them last year on their world tour, and it was the best thing I've ever experienced in my entire life. The love I feel for this band is unreal

Those three are such great songs. The people surrounding the stage during the UGLY pv are actually all fans from their fanclub. It was pretty cool. The band held a raffle contest for fans to enter to be part of the music video.

the GazettE has been experimenting since around 2012 with new stuff, they went from dubstep to what you just heard. I think they are so versatile, I mean, if you hear their whole discography you'll find out all the genres they can reach. That's why they are my favorite band, haha. Also, please react to lynch.! @MacRyanMac Finally the GazettE already came to US and Canada in Spring 2016! It was definitely the best concert here in NYC! There's a DVD already in stores in Japan or in CdJapan about the live in USA and Canada, it's called 'the GazettE World Tour 16 Documentary Dogmatic -Trois-'.
THANK YOU ♡ I went to their gig in Finland (2013 & 2016) and it was the most amazing thing ever. Last year they even did a meet and greet for VIP fans.
I've been their fan for 12 years this year and it is just about half of my life.. :D
Ugly is one of my favourite songs at the moment and one of my all time favourites are VORTEX, Crucify Sorrow, Naraku and Nakigahara. And obviously there are dozens more...

They played at The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto last April. It was the day after UNDYING came out and it was AMAZING.
Each album by GazettE has a unique sound. Dogma has thus far been their heaviest, darkest offering. I had VIP tickets to their first US tour last year in NYC and it was worth the years of waiting! They super nice guys too!

While I was watching your reaction I was totally getting goosebumps in my arms 'cause... it made 1 year exactly 2 days ago that I went to see them in Paris. They damn made me to catch a plane for the first time, just to go see them. And seeing your reaction, with the videos playing in the background... oh boy... feelings!!! I could basically teleport myself to that day. Please, go to a show of the GazettE next time they come overseas... or if meanwhile you, somehow, visit Japan! It will worth every single second.
Edit: Oh and... yes... Dogma and Undying are linked, no in fact... this is a trilogy... that's why most of us said to you react to those three by this exactly order. ;) But Ugly is like a harsh/sudden 'break' on those two videos, but they are all connected. "Dogma" album, to be honest, side by side with "DIM Scene" one... are their mind-orgasm albums. "DIM Scene" its more deep and melancholic while "Dogma" is violent.

The reason the third video is a "combination" of the others is because they belonged to a project called "Dark Ager Project" that envolved a full album "Dogma" and two singles, "Ugly" and "Undying" I recommend you to check up the artwork for the three of them since they are connected and linked together.
Also if you enjoyed it, check their album, it's full with that sort of music.
BTW Ugly is about the seven sins and yes, Dogma is a ritual, the chained guy was Reita, the one with the covered nose. Everyone of them had a role in the video.
I personally love their old school stuff because they debuted around the same time I discovered them so I kind of grew up with the old stuff. especially NIL and Disorder were THE shit back then we were raging over it. and I also have a lot more fond memories trying to get a hold of their albums etc so maybe nostalgia is playing a part here as well:)
PS If you love ANYTHING Japanesque I would suggest looking into a band called Kagrra (or they changed it to Kagrra, ). Sadly they disbanded in 2011 but their tunes were amazing

I've seen them live and it was hands down the best experience of my life. I have my boyfriend to thank for showing them to me, about 4 years ago. He's been a fan for a straight 13 years now and I had the amazing privilege of being able to get him to one of their concerts for the first time in his life. They put on an amazing show in San Francisco last year. They actually already toured in Canada and the US last year, I'm so sorry you missed out.

That insta shock of how incredible the songs are! Although it like 'Why am I so shocked?' at the same time, it shouldn't be shocking, they are a versatile band. Dogma is an incredible Album, Ugly and Undying are equally awesome singles.

You should check out more DIR EN GREY, since you only reacted to two songs. Songs like Vinushka (remastered), Lotus and Rinkaku will give you a different impression of them. They're not just a shock act.

They are so beautiful in person and very nice people !I've been listening to The GazettE for about 11 years now and they have definitely contributed a lot to my current style. I listen to the Gazette (you can also say Gazetto) for more than 10 years and I love the change of style they did throughout their career. Their lives are amazing, maybe you can find some on youtube (I highly recommend NLSG - this one's so good, but I think it's nostalgia talking- and CODA)
And for overseas lives, patience is a virtue. I waited 7 years to finally attend one of their live in France. They toured last year too through Europe and America (they came to Toronto if I remember correctly). If you're patient, they may come in 3 years *fingers crossed*.

This is so late, but whatever. I have seen Gazette live twice. The first time when i was in Japan, the second time when they were in Toronto. They are worth it. Both shows were amazing. If you ever get the chance and feel so inclined: go. You wont regret it.
These pv-s are kind of a same, because they were part of the "Project: Dark Age" and it had 13 movements. Releasing Dogma was the first movement. 3rd was Ugly ( the crows in the pv are actually fans. they havent done a pv with fans since hyena) and 6th was undying. Going overseas also was the part of this stuff. And yeah, they went to the USA, Canada, Europe, South Asia, and finishing with the tour Dogmatic - Another fate.
I guess you should buy, or look up the Dogmatic final dvd because these songs are more kick ass live.

If you don't like Goth or Doom metal you probably will not will not like them but they are Definitely worth a shot. They are a really unique band with a unique sound no one really sounds like them.
The band broke up after the tragic death of their lead singer and bassist Peter Steele in 2010. The world really lost someone special when he died. In 2011 an oak tree was planed in his memory in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, Ny and fans put messages and tributes to Mr. Steele and many bands created songs and cds dedicated to him. He is still the best singer I have heard so far.

Back when they started they had this heavy styles and i think that you will love their earlier work also, its more raw in a way so when you have time check out their albums Nil and Stacked Rubbish. You will love them
