このコンサートは、1985年に起こった日本航空墜落事故の追悼コンサートだったと記憶しています。500人以上の方が亡くなり生存者は4人だけだったそうです。この曲はこの事故で亡くなった坂本九という玉置さんが大ファンだった日本のスターを偲んで作った歌と聞いています。手に花束を持っておられるのは、その坂本九さんの奥様から歌の前に頂いた花束らしいです。玉置さんの歌声が素晴らしいのには、理由があるんですね。

「hoshizorani ohita namida」is a requiem for
kyu sakamoto by tamaki who is famous for 「sukiyaki」song !😞
