I remember, as a kid in the 70's, seeing toy Chaparrals in sorts of colors. In fact, I had a Chappy 2G w/ wired remote control molded in red-orange plastic (maybe 1:18 or 1:12 scale). I got childhood flashbacks watchings yours 😄! Mattel's Hot Wheels 2G was available in different metallic colors but the wing was always white.

Good looking paint job on the Chapparal. Much better than the usual white one. Absolutely nothing wrong with fantasy liveries on slot cars.
