I am American with no family background in Syria or the Middle East at all, but I love my Antiochian church and I am happy to learn from your cultures over there. The more I hear about and from Sayidna Saba the more I build love for him. Thank you! ❤

    A beautiful interview, thank you!
I am a new convert to Orthodoxy and a member of the Antiochian Arch Diocese. I hope some day we will be blessed to have his Grace bless us with a visit. As a member of the laity I look forward to doing the work spoken of to realize God's kingdom here on Earth. Thank you again!

In January 2020, before the pandemic, our Holy Cross Church in Palmdale was blessed to be visited by Metropolitan Joseph. I informed him that (relatively)inexpensive desert land near to Fort Irwin National Desert Training Center in the Mohave Desert would be an excellent location for the first Antiochian Orthodox Monastery. Not just the desert location, but Fort Irwin is where all American and many allied military train for desert warfare and they come into contact with Eastern Christians in the Near East. Just as many Roman soldiers became disillusioned with war and became great Christian saints, I felt that Christian veterans with PTSD would benefit from Orthodox spirituality. His Eminence seemed very interested, but our conversation was interrupted by a Belorussian RIM member asking me to help make coffee(which I have no idea how to do.) The Coptic Monastery on the East side of Fort Irwin is doing very well, attracting Protestants, even though they are all from Egypt. The Antiochian American Archdiocese has a shortage of bishops because we have a shortage of monks.

I was struck by the impact of the Orthodox Youth Movement on his Eminence's youth. Similar to the impact of heterodox Young Life impact on me. So important that our young people experience the power of Christ before our colleges try to erase it.

I have three questions regarding the Bible and some of its teaching. Does the scripture about Jesus’ feet being like bronze definitively state his race, or does any other scripture with certainty describe Jesus’ skin color based on race? Second, is there scripture that with certainty states that repentance is or isn’t accessible to every human? And thirdly, in Christianity under Gods law is there an accepted practice for self-baptism? Thank you :)

The problem of diversity had been solved 2000 years ago by St. Paul whenhe said that everything should be preached in a way majority understand and also said everything in the church should be done in a good tidy way. Meaning: English & Byzantine. Not English and polyphony or Any other language & Byzantine or mixes as we please! But unfortunately No one wants ro listen or solve things from the core
