She isn't saying anything too complicated at all. Sometimes people just don't have anything interesting to say, doesn't mean they're clueless to what is happening,
The question is, what makes Wikipedia different from Britannica. Similar to the algorithm, when viewing Wikipedia it is necessary that you know what it is you're looking for. Britannica on the other hand, once opened can take you to a world you never thought possible. The ability to view all 300 pairs of shoes is the ability to discover new possibilities. Take that away and your prospective can only become narrower.

No Hannah, don't lie to the simple man, you know that because we can be predicted that there is no free will. We just don't have enough data farming techniques to understand individual human patterns yet.
I stopped watching at 2:53 - she actually went that long talking about what she did without saying the word 'data'... And in the same period of time she managed to drop the word 'maths' so many times I lost count. It was like watching something from the 50s
I hope sam harris knows of this women he's the author of a book called free will. though the truth will set you free it will piss you off first that you didn't know it before hand. if true be true than accept it now. this women just rubbed up against a kind of taboo thing to talk about, first she said surrrrre you have free will than went on saying if you look at it with perspective we start to really look like we don't have it(of course I'm paraphrasing)
At 1:03 she starts by saying "We do have free will"... Really? Do we? I would have expected a more 'cautious' answer from someone with a degree talking about a subject out of her field.
No, she is answering him who claimed that we do have free will and can't be modeled easily as predictable individuals. She went forth and explained how Big data does not support that assertion. Did you not understand anything?
@@MikoDarkblade Mhm, i don't give a shit if you respond or not. I would expect a more thoughtful post from someone who takes himself so seriously as you.
I can't imagine the reactions if a guy would show up in a see-through shirt and tried to be taken seriously. Hannah is awesome, but I just don't get this.
I just want her to whisper maths equations softly into my ears all night long.
If my math professors were anything like Dr. Fry, I'd have been a famous mathematician by now. I could listen to her talk about anything.
ZOMG. You're born to be interviewed on TV Hannah. Flawless!
those ppl are looking like they dont understand a single thing she says xD
iSneezeLP Went right over all there heads. They didn't even see it go by.
Yeah ikr

Bruno Bandeira the show is also Swedish so maybe a language barrier might explain it
2:42 She understands. She's thinking"....I think I've left the back door unlocked"😬
The blond girl was mad because she (Hannah) took the role of Alpha woman :D
The "blond girl" is Therese Johaug, the overall world cup cross country skiing winner last year, she is obviously a lot better at skiing than math.
@@TerjeMathisen *Maths.

The sneering look she gave Dr Fry was epic (or intentionally edited in, either way it was funny)
I absolutely love Hannah Fry.. huge crush..
I'll fight you for her. She's mine. Hands off.
An amazing woman.
The way Hannah says burgalry is the cutest thing ever.
so pretty
Hannah totally stole the show.

I'm really liking this talk show
I miss the freckles, I understand that you can get washed out on a tv set... but I love your normal self
2:42 - "I'm going to 'repeat victimise' you"
This video was posted 9 years ago. I just saw it and realized that Hannah Fry is a nascent Hari Seldon. (Any Asimov fans get that reference?)
When a mathematician has better rhetorical skills than the moderator he should really consider picking a different career lmao
It's not a debate so he's not a moderator you dolt.
Love her!!!
oh shoot... now i gotta learn math if i wanna steal successfully again.
Peter Forsberg sitting with them ..nice
