the country who has the large number of time zone is Russia 11 time zones in a single country
But if you see France they has 12 time zones but in separate countries
Kiribati has 3 time zones

UTC +14 LINT Line Islands Time Kiritimati

But haven’t we learnt that sun rises first in Japan ?
I guess if you read again then he mentioned 'one of the'. Sunrays may spread obviously wide so the positioning of different place may lie in the area where the sun rays reach.

Hlo mam, kiribati is an independent country in the central Pacific ocean. and also are the world's farthest forward time zone, UTC+14:00 the time of day is same as U.S state Hawaii (UTC-10:00)but the date is one day ahead.. Thank you
