This video depicts Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM), Laser Guided Bombs (LGB), and 30mm Target Practice (TP) rounds. This video was recorded using the 59th Test and Evaluation Squadron developed OTTER-CAM (Operational Test & Training Exterior Recording Camera).

Bet this will be the most off the wall comment you receive on this video. I remember well, the A10 sound of freedom that didn’t agree with my 15 month old daughter back in 1984. We were newly assigned to RAF Lakenheath and living in Ickburgh, Norfolk. Daily, around 2:00 p.m. the A10s would swoop low over our house and awaken my sleeping daughter. As I was 5 months pregnant with daughter #2 I was always hopefull for the longest naptime possible. Thank you for bringing back that memory! I’m forever proud of the 25 years we spent as a USAF family.
It's the F-35 now that makes all the noise in the air around Lakenheath and Mildenhall.
They are *really* loud, surprising how noisy they are for a stealthy plane. It's a lot louder than the Eurofighter
@@matt.willoughby There is a very large engine in the F-35. (Fat Amy) It's one thing to see it in a photo, it's completely something else to see it in person next to an F-15 engine. (I'm a retired USAF engine guy)
@@SnoDraken oh awesome, did you ever get to serve overseas? The f15 is an iconic aircraft, did you get to fly one? Do ground crew like yourself have to learn how to fly? My gf's Dad was in the RAF, he works for a Japanese company now flying cargo around that area of the Pacific
