    Magnus’ technique is unreal. Lured the K away, used his pawn to create and fixate a weakness (h pawn), created a situation of K+R against R, the R had to let one of the 2 enter the camp

      @@lethall6609 I was that person too 😅, until i started playing tournaments i realize that i was very weak in endgames for two principal reasons, i didn't know what to do in some positions and i needed more time to calculate because i didn't know the plans and common patterns.

      It's likely a strategy he picked up from Kasparov. Arrive "late," then adjust all your pieces, and take your time for your first move. Psychological tactics.

    Technically in opening and mid game, boris is better than magnus, 2 step above magnus. This is magnus first win after been beaten by boris 8 time in a row by boris. Boris is the future world champ with real skill!!

    Magnus Carlsen is the Mozart of chess. More artistic than any Indian Grandmaster I have seen but I think Vishwanathan Anand is the only GM who has given him a run for his money.Anand whom the chess world holds in high esteem but the Mozart of chess has a slight upperhand.

    At the last, the Brook would have given a check to the king, and could have easily killed the pawn and the game would have ended differently

      Asi esta bien, hay un monton de canales con tableros digitales (Todos en realidad) esto es mucho mejor... Todo natural y real, se sienten los nervios.. el tablero digital no molesta, aca se ve lo real.. lo unico seria otra ubicación de la camara... Un poco mas alta

    Are you guys serious? Brilliant? This was rather terribly played end game by Boris, Carlsen did not win this, Boris lost it.

    Black King got isolated in the end. This is where others finish, and Carlsen begins. All moves count in the ens

    I'm a beginner in chess, but I don't get why black doesn't check white's king w/ the rook at 17:19. Wouldn't checking obligate the King to move, thus capturing the white pawn before it promotes to a queen? Gosh, chess hard!
