For those comparing this car to Haas’ 2021 car, the Haas were a second slower in Bahrain Qualy (MSC 1:32.4 / MAZ 1:33.2). But the 2019 cars were faster than the 2021 cars in general, although I’ll give Williams the edge because they had a competent lineup and scored a point, even though it was a wild race.
It was actually relatively slower. The 2021 Haas was losing around 1.5, 2 seconds a lap to the leaders. This thing was losing 1 second to the next slowest car(regularly being over 3 seconds a lap slower than the leaders)
Fun fact: Kubica's lap is only less than a second faster than Hamilton's pole lap in 2015
