Some great P. D. Q. Bach here. I have to say I love Peter Schickele's parodies: his ability to combine one or more sometimes disparate melodies with another in counterpoint is both clever and often deliberately amusing. He knows how to please the 'crowd' with his musical humour.

I love how he leaves the Petrushka bit almost untouched. It's too beautiful to mess around with.
