She wad portrayed as a villain in this series she deserved better

Actually most women in this show was portrayed as villainess or as cruel women. For me no woman in their era can be called an angel or kind because all women in ancient era needed to do everything they can to survive and to protect their child/children. Even Hurrem & Hatice in this show was portrayed in the negative aspect while the valide was portrayed as a bias mother-in-law when in reality she was neutral between mahidevran & Hurrem.

Mahidevran is one of my favorite historical figures, and this show did her so dirty.

Poor Mahidevran she lost everything and most importantly lost her only son, I don't think she was this evil in real life

She was very charitable and intelligent in real life, and she was very popular with the people at court and the public. The show made her seem petty and cruel when she was actually a very impressive person.

She was too good and too beautiful for Suleiman. So was mustafa. That's why the people preferred him even to his old crusty father
