Giving rides in the Piper J3 Cub

I was able to give rides to my son, two nieces, and a family friend. All four had a great time and really enjoyed the view. Each person got one lap around the pattern with a low camera/photo op pass. Then the second lap was a landing. I was able to fit everyone in before sunset. It was great weather and even better smiles!

Nicely done! Nothing like giving rides to family, friends, and on-lookers. Very nice airport carved out of some heavily wooded area. I might have a little trepidation knowing the only option is into the trees. Had my J3 13 years. Still gives me so much fun to fly on clear day smooth air and knowing a 78 yr old airplane can be a perectly hands off plane. Over 1100 take off and landing it and still enjoy the challenge of xwind landings or gusty right down the runway winds.
