शरत् चंद्र की कहानी पर बनी यह फिल्म और यह मधुर गीत कौन भूल सकता है, खासकर जब 26 जनवरी का पावन दिन हो। 1978 ई. में मैंने गाँधी मैदान, पटना में झंडोत्तोलन देखकर लौटते हुए अशोक सिनेमा हाल में मैटिनी शो में इसे देखा था।
हमने तो ये फिल्म नहीं देखे है लेकिन इसके बावजूद पल भर में जो गाना लता दीदी ने गाया है लगता हैं कभी भी कानों दूर न हो आज कल ऐसा गाना बनता कहां है आपको सात सत सत नमन
ये गीत और इसी दशक के सारे गाणे सून कर मैं अपने
ऊस शालेय जीवन के भूतकाल मे चला जाता हू।

She is savoring every syllable to the fullest extent possible. Every new note follows the previous one naturally, smoothly transitioning without the slightest hurry.
