Personally, i love that youve started shitting on them on the mic when they accuse you of cheating after. You should keep doing that. This game made me realize just how casual the playerbase has become and what "skill gap" really means.

People tend to overestimate the casualturds and their abilities to be literate. So many people report you just for using additions/fixes of the game because they didn’t read the patch notes. And they won’t be punished for it either. The people who mass-report because their egos got stomped on should honestly get their reports nullified and or have them hold less weight tbh.
@@toufusoup They're supposedly going to be punishing people for abusing the report system, such as that guy in one of Handlers videos a few days ago who said "good luck communicating" because they report you for nonsense. People like that deserve an immediate, permanent ban.

Hey Handler, in the army the night vision scopes we had for our large weapons were enhancing the light sources in the dark (specifically the moon light and starlight). When there are other light sources (like fires or lights) the scope prioritizes them over the less powerful light sources. So what happens here is that when the enemies are close to a light source they are more visible but when not you rely on their lasers or luck ...also, too much light makes the enhancing of the scope blind the user and your gun produces muzzle flash as well, so a suppressor is a must have in NVG imo, especially with thermals or NVG scopes.
Interesting. In Modern Warfare 2 would you say they captured the accuracy of how the NVG works in real life?

In general they have done a really good job with the optics and the NVG interaction (for example snipers don't have glint, because there is no sun to create the reflection on the scope).
The night vision goggles are very close, but are more intense in real life (you couldn't stay in the central building with the goggles on). But when in dark places you can't see well even with the goggles.

And that black gold gameplay was one of the most weird (but cool) thing I have seen in this game.

For the night map part where you cannot see some people while ads, it is because it is a thermal scope and some people are using cold blooded.

Idk if this helps, but your scope won't work under nods. I guess COD wanted to make it close to real life where you can't passive aim under night vision using a thermal scope. Or at least it would be really difficult.
He tried turning off night vision though and it still didn't work, I think it's bugged
That scope doesn't seem to be NV at all. Just a green tinted thermal. It was probably a design to make it a "night sight" to diversify the thermals, before they came up with an actual night map where it's useless.

NVG needs light to work. It looks better inside by the light for a reason. Usually NVGs need bare minimum just the moonlight

I know you don't really like black gold, but I'm actually a fan, cause it causes you to mix up your playstyle, almost like we're playing a different game since everyone is using canted. I appreciate that it does that and once you figure out how to play around it, it's actually pretty fun. I guess I just think people should give it a fair chance and try to learn and adapt to what it requires. Obviously discounting Handler's cursed experience with his setup this time around lol

Haven't played a cod in a long time but i remember nvg or thermals couldn't pick up cold blooded folks, same with my favorite heartbeat sensor

There's is a way to make it worse, Yosho's vid shows it. If you choose the shortest barrel, a thermal scope (I think that one works) and a suppressor (he also included the incendiary 7.62) you can flashbang yourself while trying to fire. Making it harder to aim.

handler, thermal scopes and some other attachments (bipods are on that list iirc) block nvgs. they say it in the attachment description.

The night map is so bad, it makes the lasers that's only active when ADS activate with and without ADS-ing, which gave me a huge disadvantage
If the black gold map was during the afternoon or even early morning or even at night but with proper visibility it would be a good map.
Whenever I get on Black Gold I use the thermo x9 or whatever it is. It still turns off the NVG BUT it still lights everything up
Handler can you try hardcore search and destroy? I think it would make you more tactical and maybe fun to watch.

You can't use nods with most scopes. The lenses aren't in the exact spot of your eyes, and you're using a night vision scope with a night vision goggles. Just won't work. When the screen goes dark, it's taking the goggles off.

The game basically plays for you and they still cry wolf. I would bet, that they'd still call out a cheater if they were cheating themselves just bc they're losing.
People still won't shut-up about shotguns or any OHKs, Meta weapons, and...well shields do suck. Make it so the head is exposed while crouching (like while using a headglitch spot) and your feet exposed while standing and walking. OR maybe you can make them flinch by hitting their shield. That would make it a timing game between the shielder and his opponent.
I absolutely hate the map and that scope along with how it affects the screen, buuuuuuuut, you are absolutely awesome to watch, so i don't really care.

Pretty sure that scope is glitched on Black Gold which is why you were having issues seeing through it and a laser showing
Try black and white thermal scopes or green thermal scope. If faced woth same issue use hybrid night vision scope, in this also try above mentioned colour combination.
