This video is so reminiscent of my childhood. Long waits at the train crossing, waiting for that long and slow moving freight train to ever finally do something. Seems like it was forever stopping and just sitting there going nowhere and there was no air conditioning in cars back then and I think I heard every curse word there was in existence coming from my dear old Dad. He was short on patience. But I'll give my Dad credit for one thing as he would never try to go around the gates and beat the train when it evident one was coming. Thanks for the memories you brought back to me with this video Gustav. Appreciated.
I know this video! The cause of the derailment were the points switched for some reason while the first engine was about to back up. It was about to do a Deja Vu moment until it was ruined because of course it did. Btw the SF engine number was 196.
