this album is extremely dark. this is one of the brightest points emotionally in his whole career and at the same time he’s talking about going out of relevance. Ben is Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie. i’d recommend listening to Duk Koo Kim

Glad you liked it. He needed one more song for his album so he combined this great melody he had in mind, with his random stream of consciousness because he couldn’t think of any cool lyrics. And that’s genuine. Which makes this a really cool song.
