    If two leading indicators could give conflicting information, then how could either one be relied upon?

    • @DisciplinedTraderUK
      @DisciplinedTraderUK  6 лет назад +2

      Hi Jenalgo, the role of the leading indicator is usually to signal you to enter a particular trade. However, this entry signal will only be valid if other certain criteria are met too. Usually a trader will have a few layers to their analysis and all the layers would need to be in agreement before that entry signal becomes a valid one. Therefore you don't solely rely upon that one indicator, rather the analysis as a whole.
      And of course it won't always work out, you'll know that from your testing. However the whole analytical process should tip the balance of probability in your favour if executed with discipline.
      As a side point - if you have two potential leading indicators that you are wanting to use as an entry signal say, but you don't know which to use, test them both and include the one that works the best rather than simply using them both.
      Hope that answered your question!

      @@DisciplinedTraderUK yeah. As far as I have learnt, traders have a few different (or several different) ways (tools, indicators, etc) that they trust and have tested before. They use as many as possible to make sure their analysis is as accurate as possible.

    Man I know I'm being a pain in the arse but could you possibly make a video explaining what every thing means in terms of indicators. This is all to overwhelming for a beginner like me who has no idea what any of these words mean

      @@DisciplinedTraderUK why do you need an indicator? Can you still trade as efficient if you dont have one? Those are the only questions that leave my brain spinning

    • @DisciplinedTraderUK
      @DisciplinedTraderUK  4 года назад +1

      An indicator just displays the information about the price movement in a different way. They all use they're own calculations which you can look up online. Yeah you can trade without them. Trading is about putting the probabilities in your favour. If you have a strategy that does that then it doesn't matter what analysis techniques you use
