i’m leaving the US and moving to france sooo soon and all i’m doing is crying!!!!! when you are living out the things you’ve dreamed of doing it’s so scary!!!!!! big feelings are hard to feel- even excitement can come with some tears :)
Bonjour, bienvenue en France. J'ai fait la même chose il y'a 40 ans et je ne regrette pas. Aujourd'hui je suis à la retraite et ma vie est partagée entre la France et le Portugal. Je suis très heureux. Bonne chance à vous .
I’m in the same boat. I’m moving to the US in August for my year abroad and I’m feeling excited yet extremely terrified as I’ve never flown before but good luck 💗
Me too, I'm doing a semester in California and I don't think it's hit me yet! Excited but I know once I'm on the plane the emotions will hit me all at once haha. Good luck
All the best to you and your new Spanish adventure! I’ve (a German) lived in South Africa, Iceland and the UK and each move was terrifying yet sooooo exciting. You keep on growing and learning - about yourself, others and new cultures. x
gal i feel YOU!! another content creator who just left my year in paris this week, and i've been really struggling to deal with it. i also wrote down all the things i'd miss the most in paris, and made a list of things i HAVE to do when i get back. it really helped me make it a 'temporary' goodbye, and not a forever. keep your head up :)
I'm also going to study abroad in Spain next year! I live in Portugal so that's not a big change, but I will be leaving my comfort zone as well and it will be both exciting and scary and I totally understand your feelings.
I spent 5 months in Valencia, it's an amazing city. I felt at home the second I entered the city so, don't worry. Ps: get a flat with an air conditioner if you wanna survive August/September 😉
I just moved from Toronto to Paris for my masters and I'm so excited to spend the next few years here because i love the city so much, but I also feel like I haven't had time to process the move since I've been on the go for the past month. Very excited to sit down and have some alone time and reflect :) best of luck to you in Spain!
Oh my god!!! Vivo en Burriana, una ciudad que está a 1 hora de València más o menos, y el año que viene me voy de Erasmus a Grenoble (tmb estaré en mi tercer año :) y te aseguro que te va a encantar❤️ Kinda having the same feelings as u, but I still got a month before I leave home. I’m equally exited and nervous because it’ll be my first time living alone and far from my parents. Sending you lots of love, thanks for sharing your experience🫶🏼❤️❤️❤️
omg you’re coming to my city, don’t worry you won’t regret it. You’ll find it very different from Paris, but as beautiful and the people here are the best
Hi !! Have you ever been to Luxembourg ? Because you go to the Luxembourg Garden in Paris quite often I guess and maybe you would like to come visit Luxembourg ? 😅 And here people usually speak French English German Luxembourgish and any other language that the person may speak, so I guess that maybe you would like it here
WAIT WAIT WAIT YOU'RE COMING TO VALENCIAAAAAA?? omg I'm actually so excited because I'm starting uni this upcoming year and we'll be on the same faculty omg I can't believe it. (internal screaming) *okay I calm down now* The city is really nice and the people are pretty open tbh. The center is very beautiful and of course we have the river (a river used to cross Valencia but now in that space there are gardens and places to have picnics and stuff) and some pretty nice museums. I hope you enjoy Valencia and I'm looking forward to maybe seeing you one day :)
