In this video, the performance is given by "Morigaon Karbi Culture Society at Taralangsho 50th Karbi Youth Festival. This Dance is called Domahi Kikan.
Domahi is the harvest and the thanksgiving festival of the tribe. Celebrated for seven days. The young boys and girls of a village go to other Karbi villages and dance The Domahi Kikan dance. They travel from village to village and on the seventh day, when they return to their own village, they are invited to the village head’s house with all the other villagers for a grand
feast.
