- I am absolutely in love with this bike! I am a low cc bike kinda girl, 650 and below. That’s just me, what I am comfortable on. This is a 1000 cc 1977 Ironhead in a custom built 2001 frame, with a springer front in and it’s power😳, oh my my! it’s seriously like being in the saddle, riding free as the wind! lol, okay a little over dramatic, but I think, I will give it a good haul over, check it out real good, and keep it for a while. That ride at the end…….♥️

I bought my 68 XLCH Iron Head back in 1980.
Still lovin' it!
I made a custom rear fender out of a couple of FL fenders I got at the Keene swap meet, a set of K&N Super Bars, a 74 front end for the disc brake and 71 XLH tank (2.2 gallons just don't cut it for me).
I put a turbo on it in 2005, that I grabbed out of a Mazda 626 that was headed for the scrapyard.
My seat is from a 92 Hugger my friend bought for his wife (she's so short, he had to put a solo seat on it for her to stand over it).
I get it!
Sporty's are a lot of fun to ride!

Love it! I would love to see a pic of your bike! I have to admit, we had it a couple of weeks before I hopped on it. But afterwards, I am in L♥️VE!

Thats nice bike...I don't know wich to get .ironhead or shovelhead .both nice bikes..every time I see a custom bobber shovel I want it...every time I see a bobber iron I want it.i don't hav much money I'm hard working man..thanx for cheering me up .😊

Why don't you ever show yourself kickstarting the bike?
It’s a 77, so it doesn’t have one. I am guessing it must have been an in-between year because I have a 77 spare motor that does, so I have thought about swapping them out!

I just enjoy watching ladies kickstart old Harleys.
These old, unreliable kicker Harley’s are priced way too high. It’s ridiculous.
@AngiesCycles I used to have a 77 that was a kick only bike, it kicked easily in the summer but in the winter I just parked it, it would not start in the winter time.
