Nice look back at the archive Mr Boogie. As you say the freight services seem to stay the same. Whilst the passenger services seem in a constant state of flux. Well done 🤓
Amazing how so much changes in so little time. Reading went from getting 3 car turbostars to 9 car 345's and 8 car 387 diagrams. Oxford also went from turbostars to IET's which I'm sure was a welcome change. Also did the class 360 have a coach removed when getting transferred to EMR? I'd love to see more videos like this looking at old services :)
Glad you enjoyed it. It is the ex Greater Anglia 4 car 360s that went to EMR. The 5 car 360s were the Heathrow Connect units. One of them was scrapped and I believe the others are still in store somewhere. With regard to Oxford, I believe that intermediate stations between Oxford and Didcot need to get a turbo and change for London, which isn't so good.
The *WORST* part of the class 387 units hiding in the background are their "ironing board" seats, the least "bum friendly" seats I've ever experienced - i don't expect to travel on a train and get a numb bum out of it....

360205 in this video was the one scrapped @@BoogiesTrains after a derailment
Great video.

I do miss the Heathrow Express Class 332 and Heathrow Connect Class 360/2 that could have gone to EMR.
The 387s Are Horrible Units And The Class 165s and 166s Are Alot Better 👍
