I really like the new Connector area in the centre of the terminal and the EPassport Gates that are availible at Passport Control.
Shouldn't passengers from Ireland and the UK be allowed straight into the departure lounge as their security is the same as the rest of the EU?

Hi, well, security screening is the same, but passengers from Ireland and the UK still need to pass border control.

how much time does it take to go from one to the next?

Hi Ambra, border control and security screening included it takes about 20 - 40 min (depending on the gate you're leaving from). We continuously strive to ensure that all transfers can take place in less than 50 minutes, which is our published Minimum Connecting Time.

Thanks for your quick reply! very useful!!! Impressed with your efficiency.
      One more question:
I will fly from Santo Domingo to BRU, with arrival in BRU at 11:05am and have a flight to NCE scheduled to depart at 13:55.
As the flights are with two different airlines, I was informed I would need to collect my checked luggage in Brussels, then check in again until final destination so that luggage would get to Nice.
Taking this into consideration: will 2 hours 50 mins be enough for me to collect my bag, then check it in again and be on time for the flight?

Hi Ambra, that should be perfectly feasible. Have a nice flight!

Do note that you'll have to follow the arriving passenger flow then, not the transfer passenger flow.

The signage is so poorly designed. It is way too small. It should be a lot BIGGER to see it better from further away.
