lore: after joel became king of mezalia, Pixlriffs took him in as a caregiver-figure. (joel sometimes called him papa).
pixlriffs was ‘immortal’ in s1 but left pixandria after the ‘incident,’ leaving joel alone after s1. he did end up dying due to ‘unknown causes’
