Although it is incredibly inconsistent and the 70k every 5 minutes is not right most of the time, this is probably the best way to make money in this game
For anybody interested in 2021: Yes still does work but it was patched so the painting doesn't spawn as frequently. I would recommend that instead of restarting the mission if it's the wrong painting, just go out the window and head to the far left location where it's right next to an open window with 2 guards next to it. Take out the two guards by the window and grab the painting. If it's not the correct one then restart the mission.
Honestly, the easiest way to make unlimited money in this game is to do all of the Theater missions, renovate the theater to max, get all of the social clubs, and then just leave your game logged in while you do other things (clean, nap, homework, work, go out to lunch, etc) and that's 40k+ you're making every 80 minutes. Just stop by every once a while and collect and within a normal day not even playing the game you can have hundreds of thousands.

@@masterassassin791 hey Master Assassin, love your videos watched all of them. This money exploit doesn't work anymore the location is more random but there is a better way to do it just use disguise to check which painting is right, its usually the ones in the centre of the palace.
I'm replaying this game again, this time on ps5 Loving it, and I honestly think its my favourite AC game, AC 1 or Origins close second. The game looks so damn good and plays so well. Story, fluidity, gameplay, animations etc. Really appreciating your channel as well. This was a great tip for farming money in the game but its so hit and miss when you play alone. Took maybe 6 attempts before ot worked the first time. Thanks man!

@@yelrahkcorb yes. Keep restarting the mission so that the paintings are listed as: 122, 116, 118, and 80. 80 is the location of the painting to the right of the main entrance as shown in this video. Just did it twice. Make sure the coordinates of all 4 matches above each time you restart.
Works as of 24 jan 2021. Tip: if you started the mission with the narrator saying “more assassins more loot” instead of “ratcheting up the difficulty” and the distance at the window is 80 m then you have 90% chance of getting the loot
You can also get the one on the very left side if you don’t get it on the first painting all you have to do is use a phantom blade to get the guy out of the window and assassinate the second guy the jump back out of the window so you wont get caught then all you have to do is pick up the painting and reset
**Some extra tips for this mission** -Reloading the checkpoint will restart the mission but the location of the correct painting, and all open windows will remain the same. All the ammo and bombs you used will also revert to what they were when you started, but will be full if you just fill them the first go of the mission. If you screw up, just reload checkpoint and go to whichever painting you think it is. -Also, if you see a guard admiring the painting (you can see this from the outside w eagle vision), that is definitely the correct painting. -Throwables & ranged weapons are your friends. To get the max of each, wear legendary military bracers (12 phantom, 9 berserk blades) and legendary military belt (15 smoke bombs/stun grenades/cherry bombs, 7 poison gas). -I tend to use berserk blades to lure enemies to one tough guard, then toss a poison gas and get to a safe hiding place (usually hanging on the outside of the bulidng). This is a very easy method and will let you take care of guards at low risk. However, if there are a few guards, just drop a smoke bomb and assassinate them. -If you use a ranged weapon, get a headshot on your enemy. You will gain creed points and an insta-kill if using phantom blade or gun.
Theoretically when you load up the level and there is a painting in that spot, it should be a 25 percent chance that it is the correct painting, but it certainly doesn’t feel like that is the case.
@@wolf_the_sun_praiser990 I got it second try. I auto restart if the painting isnt 80 M away and if the person doesnt say more assassins more loot. If both of these things happen then it's a 90% chance I think.
U can also use the camouflage ability, walk past all the enemies and steling the paint. The camouflage won't end and u'll be able to go out the main entrance without getting spotted
I can confirm that as of Sep 2024 this exploit still works. You just need to be patient and persevering with the grind coz it is VERY random. to demonstrate, it took me ~20 retries for my first one then after a few more I got my 2nd and 3rd within 1 retry of each other. Thanks to this guide, my Arno now has legendary gear right after Sequence 1. Can't wait cheese earlygame with it. 🤣

If you keep getting fake ones do these 1. Do the 80m one 2. If it's fake do the far left one but watch out there might be a sniper one the other window 3. Go kill the brute at the window and hide near the bed and kill the others then get the painting 4. Get out of that room Go for the other one but watch out of the brute that's looking at the door 5. Kill the ones above the painting Agiles/snipers 6. make the brutes down there Go berserk and make them kill everyone 7. wait untill they die and get the painting 8. If it's fake head down the the bottom and get the painting but there's a couple of scouts

@@tricky_sam_yt9729 actually when i first did it, it worked for me like 6 times. But what i did was when it spawned up stairs to the location i usually hit there then restart if it wasent it. For me it worked for me for about an hour. I was able to get 800,000 trust me this glitch still works, it just dosent work very often like it used to.
Last night I made around 500k on this mission. First times I struggled quite a lot to get max rewards and I even thought that the max was 25k but then I realized there is more if done with decent stealth. So I began being stealthy and damn... I did enjoy it and after 3 or 4 times the process became easy as hell even though I had to look for the original painting. Now I feel like a true Assassin 😂

This shit has been working i noticed the comment about some one saying it was patched, but only needed to restart a few times but ive gotten the painting like 5 times already. I made 400,000 in like 10 minutes 😅
@@Q4ZR so believe it or not, it runs through a cycle, when you start the mission almost everytime its gonna be the on on top, restart the mission then it will cycle to the lower one. But maybe the first 2 times it will be a fake. Then after you finish the mission then play it again a few more times, it will be the first one for like 2-3 times after you start the mission from the assassin dude. And when you start the mission, as soon as you skip the cutscene immediately hold the right trigger and your left analog to start moving. Ive seen a couple of comments on here mention that the distance from the painting also does something to it. I dont know. But this shit actually works i just made 400,000 in like 10 minutes
For anybody trying this method and it keeps failing, it seems that the trick is to not touch the floor. If you character ever touches the ground and if the painting is more than 80m away, it won’t work. Hope this helps. It sure did for me!
@@masterassassin791 so, i've been doing this for 40 min rn. I've done it 16 times in total and out of the 16 times, it was 7 times that it was 80 meters. But none of these 7 times it was real. I guess i'll try one more time and if it doesn't work then, i'll just give up and grind in a normal way i guess
@@masterassassin791 I GOT IT! After 18 times and 8 of those times it being 80m, i finally got it on the 8th time. It took me one hour, it does work. So i'll sub, it just takes extremely long. Did not expect that. It is better and faster than just grinding missions and quests and looting enemies in one hour
This mission is really fun, it difficulty level is much higher than any of the missions in the game. I don't even care for the 70k, trying to not get detected is where the challenge is at.
Sorry to hear that it is a very luck based method so it can be very inconsistent when filming his video it took me 3 tries. If you have people to play with you can always try my alternate method.

If you climb up the right side like the person in the video did and run through the two chimneys on the left hand side at the very top without climbing over them it is always going to be the far right side art. This has worked for me and it's been the right side one everytime
Still works to this day, tried the mission 6 times, 3 of those time the painting was in the correct location and one of those 3 times was the correct painting... do as you wish with the math but it works
1 more question😬... after doing the heist, do I need to “Restart Memory” “Restart Mission” or “Restart from last Checkpoint” to do the method and keep gaining money again?
Ive played this mission 150 times going to the spot he says in the video AND another spot that was lightly defended. Got it the first time, not ONCE in the other 149 attempts. Either im the unluckiest person on the planet or this game just does not want me to get money. Wtf
By today’s standards the game can definitely come across as boring but the game was great experience back in 2007 lol. We wouldn’t have all these open world stealth games if it weren’t for AC1 laying the foundation

Actually the mission itself is pretty easy, btw for me this only worked once, but I beat the mission a few times with minimal loss. Thanks anyways. Not really a unlimited money strat, more of a gamble.

Hankz 10 you have to unlock the viewpoint closest to the heist on the map
Hankz 10 you can also go to your progress tracker and then to heists and find it from there I believe

It can end at a very horrible point, as it has happened to me a lot but this new way of getting cash is way easier and more simple.

@@masterassassin791 I GOT IT! After 18 times and 8 of those times it being 80m, i finally got it on the 8th time. It took me one hour, it does work. So i'll sub, it just takes extremely long. Did not expect that. It is better and faster than just grinding missions and quests and looting enemies in one hour

This mission is really fun, it difficulty level is much higher than any of the missions in the game. I don't even care for the 70k, trying to not get detected is where the challenge is at.

Sorry to hear that it is a very luck based method so it can be very inconsistent when filming his video it took me 3 tries. If you have people to play with you can always try my alternate method.

If you climb up the right side like the person in the video did and run through the two chimneys on the left hand side at the very top without climbing over them it is always going to be the far right side art. This has worked for me and it's been the right side one everytime

Still works to this day, tried the mission 6 times, 3 of those time the painting was in the correct location and one of those 3 times was the correct painting... do as you wish with the math but it works

(both of this heist gave the same reward 25k for the actual reward and 45k as bonus = 70k oke am dumbass)
I can confirm that this still works in 2022. But one thing I will say is this will take time. I had to grind for about 30 minutes before I got it.
1 more question😬... after doing the heist, do I need to “Restart Memory” “Restart Mission” or “Restart from last Checkpoint” to do the method and keep gaining money again?

Ive played this mission 150 times going to the spot he says in the video AND another spot that was lightly defended. Got it the first time, not ONCE in the other 149 attempts. Either im the unluckiest person on the planet or this game just does not want me to get money. Wtf

By today’s standards the game can definitely come across as boring but the game was great experience back in 2007 lol. We wouldn’t have all these open world stealth games if it weren’t for AC1 laying the foundation

Actually the mission itself is pretty easy, btw for me this only worked once, but I beat the mission a few times with minimal loss. Thanks anyways. Not really a unlimited money strat, more of a gamble.
