you are quite simply not correct on part of your comment, long pipes are only for corn or maize, short pipes are for grass as a long pipe would block up in grass
When opening the corn field doing the headland with the combine & corn header would prevent some crop destruction. One mod I can't live without is "spawn pallets stacked." It allows pallets to spawn at productions in stacks so more will fit in the spawn area (much easier loading too!).
Always a great video! Consider getting the Upgradable Factories to upgrade the bakery to handle more flour, rather than buying multiple bakeries to speed up bread production. With the Upgradable Factories mod, you can keep increasing the capacity as needed.
Only pin hitches work. The dolly trailers will work, but most foragers will not work with something that puts pressure on the hitch, like a single axle trailer. Silage additive, in game, will only prevent loss as it can not increase the yield that is not there originally. In real life, it's to prevent spoilage, as Pemberton Farms uses it when they cut grass for silage before putting it in the clamp.
I think you should go with an auto loading trailer now for logs. You’ve both proved you can move logs, but with you having to cut trees to then progress that bit further think you’ve both earned that break now of loading trees. You can break one rule.

The old Ford comes in handy you should see if you can put a front loader on it and stick the biggest bucket you can on it might save you having to buy a wheel loader to scoop up all that silage 👍
It is a bit late to suggest but what you could've done is you could change the output mode of the grain mill to 'Storing' and sell the 25k supply of flour that is sitting there. The bakery is clearly both full and painfully slow so it won't need more flour in the foreseeable future, but even if it would you could refill the grain mill with barley and make more flour.
Custom silage harvester here! That “addictive” is more of inoculate to promote fermentation and keeps the silage healthier, longer. I think game wise it add yield since you can’t really put up quality, and add a little realism to it.
I farm in real life, for hay if you want dry hay and it's still a bit to wet you can put on acid in the game it's additive it will keep the bale from molding, with corn silage you put on preservative witch keeps the feed from spoiling
Hiya daggerwin ✋ loving the new forage harvester I knew you would find one in those mods you use in FS your the FS mod king you know where to find all the best mods for FS like the trailers I really did think that both of those trailers would actually fit on the back of the forage harvester but no but I was thinking OMG 😱 chainsaw 100 don’t drop in the river hahahaha 😂 Great idea daggerwin about the way you did that first headland pass I guess the only plan was for chainsaw 100 to drive on the crop and make it work that way your definitely going to make lots of money know out of this maze harvest lots of silage and money coming in the future to fund new land and new upgrades I’m really loving this survival challenge series there is still so much more potential in this series before the release of FS 25 in November

I'm sure you know and just enjoy looking for your equipment, however, you can go to the owned equipment menu and there's a button to locate it and it puts a marker on the map where it's located.
You should look into leasing or buy the silage boss trailer or the lizard silage trailers they hold a lot more the standard size trailers Anyway I'm totally enjoying this series keep up the great work 🙂👍

According to an online guide i found, the silage additive works for both chaff and grass, adding a 5% bonus yield.

If you buy a leveling blade, you can level it out better than just driving on it. And yes, more tires help too.

Should've used the tree cutter (360) for compacting (we did once , best thing ever)

You can do whole crop with the corn header on the forager. Maybe make silage out of the serial crops?
They have an industrial bakery mod that speeds up the production
Using a forage wagon with pipe should make it easier to load the silage pit

There is a mod that attaches to the Forage harvester and allows to attach all trailer types. I think it is called 'Pickup Hitch for Foragers'.

On this map, the silage sales point does not accept bulk silage. Sold in rolls only.
There is a mod for a trailer hitch for forest harvesters that 100% works with that mod (in case you want it in the future)
