There's a christian music song from a few decades back composed by a pastor with lyrics similar to what you're testifying to. It was Phillips Craig & Dean. All 3 are or were pastors of churches in TX (none of which I was a mbr of). The refrain was: "your grace still amazes me". I actually don't recall which one of their songs had the lyrics but I, like you, became amazed @ His grace.

When I speak I often emphasize that we must be praying for ourselves to become more and more like the Son of God because we know that is God’s will, it glorifies God, and it gives credibility to our words.
