Just won a pair - pretty amazing - they also translated whatever I was looking at (English/Italian/Spanish/French/German) - was able to answer a math problem I wrote down - was able to answer a multiple choice question on screen - basically also acts like a BT headset so all my music streaming works great - send/listen to txts and calls - v6 update now allows 3min vids 😎
I just got mine yesterday and I think the music quality is very good. Not AirPod quality, of course, but still very good. I got full-spec prescriptions through LensCrafters, caramel with brown transitions. Slightly heavier than I’m used to, though.
So Google Glass died over a variety of issues. None of those were related to designer frames. Did they fix the legal / privacy / creepy issues? And by the way, making the cameras less noticeable makes it worse, not better.
There’s a white flashing light when recording that can’t be shut off or covered. For me making the camera less noticeable made me feel more comfortable wearing as regular glasses. The problem is that this technology can definitely be misused just like our phones or any other small cameras we can hide anywhere.
I ordered transitions but they have too much glare. So I'm considering ordering a second pair being sunglasses only. do you have any issue with this gradient?
The glare is pretty bad on the polarized as well- unfortunately Ray-Ban didn't spend the money on the lenses for all these frames- thankfully they aren't special and are easy to remove

Rayban was nice but customer service garbage after i sent my smart rayban February for repair until now October I haven’t got keep calling keep email nothing just i got same answer. Rayban Customer service Luxottica is a scammed
I've never had to deal with their customer service. But with Luxottica owning just about every sunglass brand I'm not surprised. Hopefully with the Meta name they'll be better.

You should have at least tried listening to music. They're surprisingly good. For running and cycling, they are awesome.
they do look great now as sunglasses, and I definitely did not expect that sound and video quality from them

can't complete update, can't connect to the temporary wifi network. I cant connect to glass with the app. Can you help me for this issue?
Sorry. I didn't have issues. Some android phones have issues with it.

There's some glare that my better sunglasses don't have. It was annoying then one day it stopped bothering me. I guess I got used to ut

how did you set up your meta in which you were able to ask some random questions?
In the settings. You have to enable hey meta and voice access

can you cover up the light so people don't know you are recording?
Maybe with duct tape or something. But you can’t turn it off in software

I've tested this and if the led is covered, the glasses recognize the led has been covered and prevent recording

I can't find it anywhere. It's more than likely a Qualcomm or mediatek. Those are the two main suppliers of ARM chips
