- I went to meet a man in a parking lot to look through some promising 78s, which I bought. Then I went back to pick up more of the rest of the blue soundsheets from the place I bought from before while looking for records in antique malls and junk stores on the way there and back!

I always love how upbeat and positive you are! I originally started watching just for the 45s, especially after how much respect and love you have for Buddy Holly and the Crickets along with some other early rock and roll, but you also got me into appreciating 78s. Since I became a viewer, I got inspired and built up my own collection of 78s along with one that's just as big for 45s! I've been picking every 78 bin in record stores around Phoenix to find a Sun. No luck yet, but I'm trying to use your tactics to get lucky!
Worth is a matter of opinion. If the majority think it's worth something, it's accepted as fact. People throw out things they think are worthless to them, but is gold to others. Well, if you are freezing, gold can't keep you warm. If you are starving, you cannot eat it.You would have to trade that gold for heat. Gold for food. If you can find someone that has what you need. Anyhow, another entertaining video.
Why does the acetate records have 2 and 4 holes?

Usually it depends on the cut, if you you’re cutting a 7” single you cut from the sides, if you’re cutting a 78 or an album you go for the middle.
The extra holes are for the drive pin - keeps the disc locked to the platter as it spins.
This!
They're not acetate. They're metal discs with a lacquer coating, and are referred to as lacquers.
Did you really buy those 78s from the fella in the parking lot looks to me they came from under his house
I've wiped moldy cat food off of good 78s...
"If I don't stop... I don't find." That is literally the best advice you can share with any record junker. Thanks a lot for the video!
This is really good showing what you already have at the end of the video. You could do videos of only showing strange & unusual stuff you already have.
Great finds! Hey Mack, I think I just got a phrase: "It's the Oddballs that make a Home Run." That just came to my mind just as I was about to make this comment. See? Your video made me so happy I got inspired!
Gonna steal that for a song

Bill Chase is awesome but his albums are common. Enjoyed the video!

14:15 - fresh as a mountain spring.
So- Parking lot exchanges of merchandise are illegal in your area?? I am confusion, America...
He was joking....I think 🤣
Rottiezucco1- Let’s hope!
Only if you're exchanging $ for packets of white powder.
I Buy Old Records- Confectionary sugar is illegal down south? Whoddathunkit?
That Chase album is rare. They were all killed in a plane crash. Sadly it sounds knackered!!!
Trumpeter Al Hirt was with Herb Alpert so wise to leave his albums in situ.
Very cool, love the hunt as well 👍😎
Real nice :):) Have a great day
