When I'm feeling nostalgic for my high school and college years, when I enjoyed anime and the music in them and didn't care what anyone thought about my tastes, I listen to this song. If I'm not feeling nostalgic already and accidentally play this song, then the nostalgia comes on even stronger. Awww... I love this song so much.....
yep! 33 now...I feel like am 16 again. It was also my special needs (am autistic )helper in my highschool who gifted me this series, as she knew I loved anime, and she found it randomly, give to me during the holiday season
in college rn. just watched this movie. got me feelin a lil different. hit the gym this morning. gonna do some graff in a minute. today is good and this song makes it a bit better.
Taking me back to when I was the only person in my Middle School that knew what anime was. I'm so happy seeing young folks enjoying it now. :) Fills my heart with happiness.
When I watched the English dub of this many years ago (that was all that was available back then), I used to think "this is really good music for a dub". I literally just re-watched it in the original Japanese, mostly to see how the songs would be and imagine my surprise they were the same!
Project Ako was the very second anime I ever saw, my first was Dominion Tank Police. It was around 94 and I was in 4th grade. Needless to say it was something else, but I loved it. I now own it on VHS, Laserdisc, and DVD, and I watch every version religiously.
I hope Project A-ko gets a blu-ray release someday, I'd love to watch it in HD. A lot of older anime movies and series look great on blu-ray, has been my experience.
@@downsouth420 Yeah, that'd be fantastic, though I just recently heard they lost the original film prints for Project A-ko, so it seems like a remaster for Blu-ray might not be possible :(
@@NAJ0202 They found out that 35mm film reels are actually caused by clerical error in the film lab so they were able to find and used transfer instead of being upscale of laserdisc release. They even put the 4k scan clip of same reel. ruclips.net/video/bVy_SHnpOqI/видео.html
Tenchi Muyo in Love was the first anime I ever saw outside of Sailor Moon and Superbook, but this was one of the first I ever watched along with Iria, Armitage III, and E.Y.E.S. Of Mars on Sci-Fi Channel in 1998.
Cuando se ((👀)) en esos vídeos de VHS tantos animes con esa frase _Hecho por fans para fans_ Ojalá exista el modo para volver al pasado, al menos por un buen tiempo.
This is actually mid 80s pop sensation Tiffany. You may remember her from her series of evening ABC Evening Pop Music specials featuring her playing to crowds of teens in various malls. Check them out!

NAJ0202 If they go overkill like on the Bubblegum Crisis Blu-ray, then it would be amazing.

People age and pass, but music among other things are immortal.
I love this song ❤️ year I was born this movie ❤️
I love this song and movie .
sounds like Echo and the Bunnymen 'Dancing Horses'. Just slightly sped up.
The first rif is almost identical.

To think this was originally supposed to be a hentai I'm glad the animators changed it.
What? That's the first I've heard of that. I'm definitely glad too, lol
It’s not too late
I came here cause of the incredible crew n now I can't stop seeing a train with a human face
I found Project A-ko because of Incredible Crew so we're in the same boat.

I really wish they make a time machine, I'd love to go back and relive the 90's
Pretty sure you meant the 80's lol
Some days I long for sleep so that I can dream of dancing my nights away with you
I love the first film, but not the others so much. I taped it off of Sci-Fi Channel then got it on DVD, then eventually Laserdisc.
B-Ko =)
Still gives me hope
this is anime to me. ♥
oliva newton john .cool
My friends and I refer to this song as the best song ONJ never made
Saturday anime on syfy
If you haven't seen project A-Ko I'm sorry your not a true anime fan....
Yep. It's valley girl music alright. B-)
A-ko x C-ko
Is it true that the one who sings is the same singer of the Jem & The Holograms songs?
.
I honestly didn’t enjoy Project A-Ko that much, but the characters and the music were the best part.
"I'll stand by you" copied this like 8 years later
The real similarity is between Explosion and It's A Sin by Pet Shop Boys. Joey Carbone is clearly a fan
Who is the singer?

Lmao, this is not Tiffany. The artist's name is Annie Livingston.
