Both my grandparents were coal miners and they were for generations. These days we have all just gone to university. My mother was the first to ever graduate in my family. Unfortunately, coal mines are feasible anymore and they haven't been for a long a time. People don't go to the mine anymore, they get degrees. We have technology to do the mining for us. The mines would have shut sooner or later without thatchers help. Times have changed.
