Thanks. Education is in crisis in the US. And a lot of it has to do with the teachers not being willing or able to describe two or three sides of a controversial issue, and then let the kids argue a position. This leads to teaching critical thinking. Instead, teachers indoctrinate. They see themselves as agents for left-wing social change. A good teacher will present many sides of a controversial issue, and will do it so well that the kids can't tell which side the teacher favors. To do anything else is educational malpractice.
