    I saw a European hornet and it definitely looked larger than 30 mm. I thought it was a dragonfly. I'm not sure how big .. Looked about 1.5 inches.. but that doesn't mean it was... But they are very large wasps.
    I know there's wasps bigger in the world but I can't see the other wasps and hornets being much bigger. That would be ridiculous... People say Japanese hornet is twice the size of the European, that would mean the Japanese hornet is the size of a house sparrow. I find that very very difficult to believe. You can't have a wasp that size... That would be some sight .
    Japanese hornets can only be slightly bigger,. Like the European hornet is slightly bigger than the Asian hornet in this video.

    Hmm. The concern is about honey bees because honeybees fill beekeepers pockets up. Nobody really cares about bumblebees or any other...
