Oh oh, we said yes! :)
This year 2020 was an incredible year for us all. Not only have we lost all our concerts, just like so many of our poor fellows, but we had to delay our wedding 3 times this summer. We know that many #weddings had to be postponed due to the virus and lots of brides and grooms were sad about it. For sure, it is such a nerve wrecking thing after planning for endless hours and pouring your heart into every little detail. Everyone tried to make the very best out of it. For us, it was this one week in Italy, where we brought our close family members together to celebrate our love. We were lucky because right after our wedding week in Italy, the second lock down started. Unbelievable!
And now that the corona virus, the black lives matter movement and the election of a new U.S. president is shaping our year 2020, I dearly hope that the upcoming period will be better and brighter for us all. We have learned so much this year and we understood what's important to us all. Social contacts, family, love, understanding, compassion, equality, support and so much more.
Gladly, I decided to write this song for our wedding and to create this video filled with our memories from our week together in Italy. We had fun, and we enjoyed each other's company.
If there would be anything I could give you for free, then this: Time with your family, friends and beloved ones. Enjoy life the way it comes to you. Take it as it is. This is a lesson I learned this year, thanks to COVID-19. How does it make you feel when you are not able to plan anything at all? Well, we all gotta be a little spontaneous.
