Thanks so much. Back in the day, the kestrel was my chicken hawk and the the northern harrier was the marsh hawk. Regardless, I really enjoy your updates.
I am looking forward to seeing your next video. You look like you are having a good time. Happy birding and I am looking forward to your next video! I have never visited and I would love to come this year from Michigan! I hope to see you!
Thanks! We just had our first thunderstorm of the spring… It lasted the full three minutes :-). They are predicting more rain and then snow. Hanging in there until May.
I heard the Wilson's Snipe had returned to its nesting site - so far that's the 4th year straight. I hope the new neighbor's dogs don't scare it away. How many millions of years has it nested at that location? haha
Love Wilson’s Snipe! We do a field trip called “Things that go Buzz, Croak, Hoot and Bump in the Night“ in early May and concentrate on those displaying species at dusk.
@@SparkyStensaas Sweet. thanks for the feedback. I haven't heard the lynx since the neighbor moved in also - I guess "development" will keep encroaching. I just have a campsite so the animals can keep me in line. haha
I heard that! I will definitely include that in the next virtually live video. Unfortunately our Motus tower is down since it runs on solar power and our inverter went kaput. Hopefully back online via battery power soon.
Mr. Sparky, Your theme song is one of the happiest tunes I've heard. Puts a smile on your face. Radiates happiness.
Thank you Don! It is an infectious tune!
Thanks for the update from the bog. We have been enjoying watching our Kestrels, hoping they will nest again in our box.
Very cool! Hope you have success!

Thanks John! I also remember the “Marsh Hawk” days.
