its not a reference to l4d, l4d references dead rising, it came out first. the origin of the achievement is the population in dead rising, and in l4d it references it by making it one higher then dead rising, and in dead rising 2 its one higher there and in l4d2 its one higher there. Valve and capcom have an unspoken competition going on.

You probably know this by now, but you need to get the Zombie Genocider achievement/trophy and then the Real Mega Buster appears in the security room. To do this, shout "FUCK THE STORY" and grab a car from the parking lot and drive it all around the underground tunnels for a few hours.
Even if you are using the mega buster grabbing the uzi is always a good idea. I personally like arming the survivors with guns and use way points so they can clear areas from a distance.
Ray drinks Snapple Mango Tea, I don't like Mango Tea, I like Snapple Fruit Punch and Sweet Tea. I might try Snapple Kiwi Strawberry, I don't know when.
Watching your playthrough of this just makes me think of Saitama fighting people in One Punch Man because you rarely had a challenge besides stupid people because you are so over powered you killed all the bosses in one or more hits. XD The best part is every time you killed a psycho you'd just go "Okay good fight" which made it even more hilarious.
Ray mentioned to someone in the chat that this is the remastered version; BULLSHIT!!! The remastered version looks WAAAYYYYY better. Also, 4:24:47 Ray doesn’t know what Djent is; I feel like he would enjoy Djent. For those that don’t know, it’s one of the MANY subgenres of Heavy Metal
I'll just say this for anyone that wants to know. Trying to get the complete Megaman outfit and the Real Mega Buster can be annoying as fuck if you don't know what you're doing. I speak from experience.

Dead Rising is the best Zombie game out there, in my opinion.
There are games which get close, but Dead Rising is in a league of its own. The humor, the design, the gameplay... its all beautiful.
