How To Repair a Hole in a Down Jacket

A tale of two jackets, at least two trees and a couple of beautiful powder skiing days.
Follow the step by step process on how I repaired multiple holes (two very large) in Marmot and Oakley down coats.
The process includes adding new material when needed, stitching up sizable holes, using self adhesive repair patch (many brands work- name brand patches do work better after washing) and also the proper way to wash and dry a puffy coat.
