A lot of people have asked me for other videos of my uncle Darren. Well here's a hit from the show they did just two short months before he was killed. Performed at The Palomino Club, Los Angeles, CA July 20, 1993.

I own this cd, bought it years ago. In the top 5 of my favorite rockabilly albums - EVER!! Every track is killer. Seriously - if you do not own this CD - go buy it, its worth every penny and then some! PS - I've been on youtube years - probably my 2nd comment ever.

Firstly condolences for your loss of Darren, he is also a loss to us in England too. Although we didn't know Go Cat Go at the time, I am in no doubt he and the band would've had lots of hits and successful tours across Western Europe. Please Mama Please became one of the biggest dance floor fillers in our clubs, thanks for sharing

Fabulous ! These cats on this performance at least , have , unlike many other retrospective 50's imitators , successfully re-created that original rockabilly feel . Just listen to that lead guitar .

I used to go and jitterbug (swing) dance at all their local DC shows and knew the guys pretty well. The band was incredible and would have gotten national attention but for Darren's murder. Even after all these years, I cannot help but feel selfishly cheated out of a lifetime of great music, entertainment and friendship. All the players were terrific, but Darren was especially talented and one of the most humble men I've known.

Thanks for sharing this. I went to Rose Valley, LBJ and Friendly with your uncle. Darren was hilarious, he always kept me laughing. I never knew how talented he was. I guess Heaven needed some good Rockabilly.....he has it now.

Ah man - I remember hearing this tune for the first time. I was a hardcore kid in the mid-90s and was just starting to discover rockabilly. We had recently started distributing Hepcat Records in Australia at the time. The first time I heard this tune on the Hepcats sampler I was hooked. This song gets played every couple months without fail. RIP Darren
