Could you please confirm if the dishwasher still doesn’t auto-restart after power cutoff? Or did it get any software updates to enable the feature?
I had asked the same question on croma store few days back but they could not give satisfactory answer. One of my subscriber told that he has taken voltas which has autorestart.

1)Sometimes utensils doesn't come clean.. Like tea pots..
2) even i face this problem tht sometimes spoons doesn't clean.
3) which cycle to use for plastic utensils.
4) how much detergent we shld use.

Default hai usme mam LG se bat kijiye kyuki power jane ke bad curse time reset nahi hota

LG claims that LG has resume function. Just see page 24 of the manual which says that after power outage, cycle resumes. I returned LG after one year and 3 months, with full return.
I bought Voltas Beko DF14S2, 14 place dishwasher, which after using LG for 15 months, i can say is the best dishwasher. I returned my LG to claim full refund. Beko has upgraded its dishwasher 3 times in last 7 years, making it most effective, versatile and economic. Beko has inverter motor like LG, which consumes very little electricity. With 12 years warranty on motor and Voltas effective after sales service, Beko is a very good dishwasher. It has many features, which do not exist in other dishwashers. Bosch, Siemens and IFB are selling their aged models at exorbitant prices. These models may still work for next 10 years but there is no point in buying the old technology which consumes more power and has lesser advanced features.

@@Kitchenrasila LG, despite being a very competent dishwasher does not resume cycle from the last stage, at which the power cut happened. The cycles get readjusted unmindfully, extending the cycles by 40 - 80 minutes. It results in wastage of time, electricity and often wastage of half utilized detergent. If you do not have frequent power outage issue, LG is a very good dishwasher. Voltas Beko is more competent and very versatile dishwasher. With around 12000/- lesser price, a very modern and advanced Voltas Beko has no real competition from Bosch, Siemens, IFB, Faber and hoard of new dishwashers.
@@AtulKumar-sw6fc how come my new lg dishwasher after power cut it's resuming from the same time it has stopped where as you all are saying it resumes from the beginning??
@@learnanyinstrumentinashort8954 RUclips is full of people complaining about LG not resuming cycle from the last stage after power outage. I used LG for 15 months. LG returned me the total amount as the dishwasher was having this problem. LG must have rectified the problem, if you say that resumption is not a problem with your LG. Luckily, Voltas Beko is a very competent dishwasher, having special features which are unique.
@@AtulKumar-sw6fc It was yesterday when we were doing in express mode we have noticed it resumed from the same timing tomorrow will tey to check in other modes to see the problem exists in other modes or not

Recently I enquired about auto resume function at lg store but they could not tell anything about auto resume
@@Kitchenrasila I had returned LG as there was an issue of non resumption of cycle, after power outage. We were hearing many complaints about heater failure. When the heater of my LG failed, i decided that it was time to say good bye to LG.
Can we wash normal plastic utensils and non sticks
You can use good quality plastics which are dishwasher safe or microwave safe. Utensils have label behind it if they are safe.
I have tried using bad quality plastic which was thin, it ended up melting. So use good quality plastic. Which you know can withstand high temperature.

LG is the best dishwasher with some very serious faults, which no other dishwasher claim to have. These faults can't be rectified.
Umm.. I did not find any fault other than the absence of auto resume. Please tell what are the other faults.
Also I have seen that there is no auto resume. But there is part- cycle resume. Its hard to explain. I will make a video about it.

Till I faced abrupt power outage, it was the best dishwasher of India, but problems started when our city, which is a major city of India, started facing daily power cuts. After each power cut, the dishwasher resumed with abnormal cycles, which got extended by more than 70 - 90 minutes. In event of several power outage, the cycle got extended by many hours. Non resumption of dishwasher cycle from the last stage affects the cleaning in many ways : - (A) Extended cycle, disturbs your schedule. (B) If the DELAY mode is used, there is surety that you will not get the utensils in time. It makes DELAY MODE highly unreliable and useless. (C) with delayed cycle, there is extra consumption of salt and Rinse Aid. (D) unwarranted delayed cycle consumes extra water. (E) unwarranted delayed cycle consumes extra power, making you pay for extra usage of electricity. (F) unwarranted delayed cycle makes the dishwasher operate for extra hours, which adversely affects the life of dishwasher. (G) When guests have arrived, an unusually delayed operation of dishwasher makes mockery of our decision in buying this machine for which we have paid more than half Lakh rupees. ONE MORE THING - like many other cases, the heater of my dishwasher has failed, which has rendered this dishwasher of no use.
Yes its true if your city has a lot of power cuts. It can be a major problem, which I did mention.
Also its unfortunate that your machine does not have proper working delay cycle.
I think since your machine is not working you should get it repaired. Because these problems are not supposed to happen.
As for auto resume, I called the head office of LG, and they told that this dishwasher comes already manufactured and assembled from South Korea. And as there are no power cuts there. They do not have auto resume function.
@@Kitchenrasila my LG Dishwasher has a proper Delay mode which can be set in operation for next 12 hours, with our choice but when power outage happens, the cycle gets extended, causing grave problems, specially if you are operating in a tight schedule. As I have really worked hard on my LG, if you have any query, I would try to resolve it. As far as my LG is concerned, it would be returned today to LG.

@@Kitchenrasila Despite the fact that I have returned my LG dishwasher, it remains best dishwasher of India. Only drawback with LG is that on power outage, it's cycle gets extended abnormally. Fact remains that no other dishwasher can come closer to LG.
