We allowed our pipe cleaners to set and air dry for 48 hours! You can leave them in for less time just make sure your hair’s is dry before taking them out. Heat is an option as well 🤗
Check out wrap-a-loc. They dont catch the hair and are long lasting.

I contemplated sister locs for 30 seconds looking at their end results. I miss my curly hair but I love the low maintenance of having locs. I have traditional locs that I maintain myself.

Love this! ❤️❤️ I must sit under the dryer for at least 30 minutes - just for my scalp and roots to dry. I am prone to get sick if I air dry. I wish I could air dry but I learned the hard way. I use the Wrap-A-loc tool instead of the pipe cleaner. I can see the difference in the curls. The pipe cleaner curls are tighter and more defined. Great video Imani!!

I was here watching jaw dropped ... I had no idea pipe cleaners could be used for this purpose.
Neither did I! But once I found out how to do pipe cleaner curls, it's been my go-to curling method for a year now :)

I have longer than waist length Sisterlocks not quite tailbone length. I roll it moist and conditioned, but find my hair looks nice just after I take out very small rollers. But the weight of my hair just pulls out the curls within a half-day. I've given up on rolling it. I just ordered the silky rollers and am eager to roll my hair with these. Maybe the curls will stay in for once!

Thank you! Mine can last up to 3, and my mom's a little over a week! The longer your hair, the more likely the curls will loosen up quicker :)
