- Hi , I am sharing with you my daily routine in French Village, in French Riviera. We are living near Menton, on the mountains;)
This is all I want from life, I swear. A cozy little town and serene vibes.
Finally I get it too! Was so silly in the past chasing the things I do not care, but now I feel in peace ☺️ And I thankful to this village for this changes 🙏
Me too. My family moved from the French Riviera during the Revolution to Hoggs Mountain Ga. I want to go back to our original home.

Beautiful village🥰 how much olive oil did you add to the veg, and how long did you cook it? Do the french have a typical rustic stew dish? Would be nice to see that😊 i do love Clafoutis😋
Hello Linda ! 🙂 Your question is hard to answer, because there are plenty of rustic stews, actually : Bœuf Bourguignon, Pot-au-Feu, Bœuf en daube, Daube de Bœuf à la provençale (this one is typical of the French Riviera), Baeckeoffe, Alicot de canard, Ragout de Lapin, Carbonade, Barboton, Escaoudoun landais, Navarin d'agneau, etc, etc…
The most famous is the Bœuf Bourguignon, of course. But try the Navarin d'agneau, or the Daube de Bœuf à la Provençale 🙂

@@heliedecastanet1882 I just made wine-braised oxtail with root vegetables with dry red wine (pinot noir). My family enjoyed it, the sauce 😊.
@@margaretmold63 My grandmother used to add a calf's foot in the wine and beef stock while cooking the Bœuf Bourguignon : it gives the sauce an incredible taste. Maybe you do the same but if you don't, try it, trust me 😉
I would love to see your chicken recipe. I can't eat the Mediterranean vegetables, but I love asparagus. I eat only sweet potatoes or other root vegetables, not the ordinary pommes de terre. Thankyou fod thd video, ivd subscribed. K
i had a french cake with heavy cream and strawberries at the mall where i worked in Kentucky America. The owner of the bakery was french and the cake was yellow and dense. i thought extra baking powder might give a cake that consistency. Thank you if you know how to make it.

The cake you describe looks like a “fraisier” (from “fraise” which means strawberry). You will surely find the recipe on the Internet.

Anyway, it’s great that you insert some French cuisine in your album. It would be even greater if you could provide specifics on how you cook your meals- the Tian for example- what temperature and how long. You know that francophiles are crazy about French food. And yours is home cooked - Not some Micheline starred million euros vegan contraption. Stay Lovely ❤️❤️❤️
