- This documentary is about All-Star Cheerleading. This originally aired in the fall on 1999 on the Discovery Channel. It follows 2 all girls teams and 2 coed teams from the gyms of Cheer Athletics, Gym Tyme, and World Cup as they prepare and compete at the 1999 NCA National Championships in Dallas,TX.

wow....all star cheerleading has come a long way in 13 years
does anyone know who got 1st and 2nd in the all girl? I tried googling it but I can't find anything
edit: on the 4th part of this documentary someone commented that GymTyme won first and Spirit of Texas got 2nd in all girl! In case anyone else was curious
@chinitonamoreno I think with all the movement and difficulty in today's routines. Those old uniforms might have too much on them or be too hot and that is why they seem to have gotten smaller.

First time wc ranked 3rd at NCA haha funny to hear when in 8 years they will win Worlds 2007 then two more times in 08 and 09. Its crazy to see videos of all star cheer from years ago. The amount of difficulty has gotten higher and uniforms have gotten shorter. Who got 2nd and 1st in all girl?
The level of difficulty certainly increased in recent years, but I still prefer some form of nostalgia like the uniforms they were wearing here.
