The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board® uses this test, which is actually called the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE), as one of the four requirements for certification as a pharmacy technician. The test was designed as a result of a job analysis study conducted by the PTCB that determined the knowledge and skills needed to work as a pharmacy technician.

The PTCB exam ensures candidates have the proper knowledge to become a pharmacy technician. The exam is challenging and includes 90 questions - 80 scored and 10 unscored questions.

For question 29, using the unitary method will make life simpler. Take 1/125 x 100/1, so you have 100/125 then divide 100 by 125 = 0.8%.

Passing the PTCB test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr Greg

I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but he gives most of his time to his phone than studies after writing the PTCB test last month he passed and I failed 😣, I asked him how he did it , just found out he got the help from Mr Anderson…

Recommendations for PTCB training? It doesn't look like any college in my town offers anything. Is this mainly done online?
There is online schooling to become a pharmacy technician, I am currently enrolled at central Oregon community college, with only 4 weeks left before I graduate.
However pharmacy tech courses I have noticed are not widely available, in my town I have Oregon institute of technology and 1 community college and neither of those schools offers pharmacy tech courses, the closest school to me that does is about 3 hours away.
I would definitely recommend looking into an online course you may have to travel a little bit for some in person training but 95% of my learning was online, I had to go for in person labs 3 times over 2 semesters to get some hands on experience with filling injectable’s, counting pills, sterile compounding etc.
How did you manage to get 60 official questions from from ptcb providers? Will these questions be identical to the one on the test?

The PTCB exam is very difficult to pass, I can't believe i failed after studying with so many materials😞

I only studied a lot when i went for the first time last year at but the second time was no easy, all thank to my aunt who introduced me to Mr James am really grateful

#38 is confusing
It's asking which drug is non-prescription that can be used to treat insomnia. Melatonin is the answer because you can purchase it off the shelf. It's an OTC medication. However Zolpidem and Temazepam need a prescription and Glucosamine IS non-prescription however it's not used to treat insomnia.

I didnt understand #40 and the explanation didnt help. All the answers are in KG , and 120 KG is over 250 lbs - yet all the explanatio is talking about mgs.

Only CII i don’t think you can order CI at all seeing as they have no medical use
