I remember back in the 70s or 80s, before the japanese girls started playing metal, i often heared about outstanding japanese violinists in classical music. So clasical violin or piano that was already a thing long ago, but meanwhile a lot people think that metal is just the classical music of today. So no wonder we have now these girls playing metal. Best example is somebody like Miyako who is a full trained classical concerto pianist.
The real hero of this track is the bassist, if you ask me. So many killer grooves and licks, and that tone is lovely. Agreed, it's not quite "Evolve," but the bass work makes up for what it lacks in other areas.
East of Eden will have their 1st Album/Blu-ray released in December!!!! The name of the album is "Forbidden Fruit- 1st Piece". I have already pre-ordered it!😊 I really liked this song overall, but will agree that it was an abrupt start vocally, yet overall Akane did an awesome job vocally. Part of me thinks that it sounded abrupt because she sang the opening in English which is not her primary language. Once she switched back to Japanese the vocals really flowed, then once again she sang the opening in English again!!!! Ayasa great on the violin 🎻, great guitar 🎸 work by Yuki, and once again the violin 🎻 guitar 🎸 solos/trade offs were fantastic. Wakazaemon just killed it on bass! She is an amazing bassist!!!! And of course!!!! My "THUNDER GODDESS", Mizuki, locked in and in the pocket on the drums 🥁!!! She was hitting those drums 🥁 like they 😅tried to steal her boyfriend!!!!
I agree that the beginning was a little bit odd. I really like this song, but not as much as their first song, "Evolve." I think their first song set the bar so high that there was no way this song would live up to expectations. Their new mini album being released in December will tell me if they are good or great. I love violin and Ayasa is a great violinist, and all the other musicians are great as well. However, Wakazaemon on bass is awesome. She has such great energy. A good 2nd song, but not as great as their first song. That's just my opinion.
This band is fantastic. I think the vocalist is great. Perhaps the abrupt start (it didn’t bother me at all) will work better in context of the new mini album releasing towards the end of December. The violin/guitar solo was excellent. Shout out to the awesome bassist. I like Evolve better but this was really good.
I like this song quite a bit, but have to agree with the opinion that it doesn't reach "Evolve's" level (but since the latter may well end up my Song of the Year, that's a high bar). Wakazaemon knocks it clean out of the park on bass in this one, though. Plus it showcases Akane's range and power nicely (although I have to agree the takes chosen aren't perfectly executed).
gotta love this new band - ayasa from MORFONICA on violin , mizuki from LONESOME BLUE on the skins and the amazing yuki from D-DRIVE on guitar. they hopefully will make some waves for a while
Why does nearly everybody forget to mention Wakazaemon on bass (perhaps because her name is too complicated for some? 😁). Beside being very demanded in Japan, she's "good enough" to be Marty Friedman's tour bassist - go figure!
yes she is excellent - also i've been following yuki for a while now - she kind of reminds me of rie aka suzaku in the respect that she doesn't get a enough recognition - man i can't believe that rie is now 37 - she's been around for a minute !@@realdocloco

fvkin vibed with that a ton. top tier energy. Really cool band, super talented, pretty eclectic 🔥🔥🔥
All good, love them all but the standout for me on this track was Wakazaemon's bass
She's killing it on this track, I completely agree!

Akane has a great voice. Been a fan back to the early Predia days. I wish Rumina from Predia could also get a cool gig like this.
Is she the same Akane who was one of the singers in Mochi to Cheese with Band-Maid's Akane and Kanami?
@@kicorse Yes.
@@saldiven2009 thanks
Have you checked out her RUclips channel?
She covers some J-pop songs. I love her voice.

It’s a good song, but their first one Evolve was incredible.

i did know the name but can you tell me if she has been in any other bands or was she a solo artist like fami in LOVEBITES was@@realdocloco
@@thedocofrock1890 she's mostly a well respected session musician ( btw she's presently playing with Tamu in one of her projects besides Nemophila)

The only thing that reminds me of the original band with that name is the use of a violin.
It is catchy. A bit meh, in comparison the other one was so much better.
