DoctorKillamassaLOGS - Honestly not without extreme thinning of the herd. There are too many among us who are too damaged for recovery. We're split up so many ways and have so many different views and ways of life, I think black americans are about the most diverse racial group in the world within our own community. An awakening would require a focus, and since segregation ended our focuses have diverged in so many ways, i can't see it coming back together without an event on the scale we can't imagine. So, in one word, no, I don't see it anytime soon, but if it did, what it would take is something so big I can't even imagine it.

As a latina that is an atheist, what you guys said about religion are some of the reasons why I am an atheist. My island was invaded not only by Europe but also the US. We have been indoctrinated and made docile by religion. You wanna talk about injustice, we are an island that cannot trade or import produce directly with other countries, EVERYTHING has to be imported and traded using US shipping companies by law, federal law and right now we are going through a serious crisis, in May our central government is literally going to run out of money, and the US is refusing to at least eliminate that law so we can at least try to save ourselves from a crash a là Greece. I understand that local corruption has had a lot to do with our economical crisis but all of these federal laws are making things worse. My people refuse to educate themselves about what happened to us and why things are the way they are now.

I never really disagree about what Corey says but he's wrong about the Tom Brady situation for a couple of reasons
1. He didn't get caught cheating, that's why its going to court.
2. I don't know any sports casters on his side, everybody on ESPN is against him and the patriots. That's why I don't watch espn now.
