@fd5927 agreed. I'm now 59yo, in 88. I was 2 years out of college and a rookie Insurance Special Investigator in Fire and Fraud losses in southern West Virginia. So I well remember the horrible incident.
I often wonder if there are still bits of debris from the disaster which have never been found and may well be found in the future? I’m going to go to Lockerbie and stay for two nights at a hotel and have a good look round.

American here. I was 35, and remember this very clearly. Absolutely horrible and tragic.
The year should have been corrected, he said 1998 twice, you would think someone should have picked up on this error.
I was shocked to see some of the aircraft is dumped in a Lincolnshire scrap yard, even seen people uploading videos on RUclips picking through bits.
Not 98 but 88 surely itv would have done there research first. Just shows how bad itv has become
