looking to putting a lightbar on mine, just got the cube lights too. I'm so bummed that the light bar mounts are $75, i need a way to jerry rig it lol!
What lightbar on amazon did you buy, and what size mount was it, the standard or xl? Im looking into buying a lightbar but dont want to get the wrong lightbar size or mount size and then be shit out of luck.
Man it was so long ago I dont know but here is the light bar link. 41.5" Off-Road Extra LED Light... www.amazon.com/dp/B00EUUNJRM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Kameron A the Gorilla mounts don't require drilling also? I know that's best route, but don't wanna spend $100 for those if I absolutely don't have to. Bottom line, will mounts that come with light bar effectively work?
@@stonebrooks9834 not very bright huh? He could install this and have zero leaks. I could install this and have zero leaks. Then you could do it the exact same way and have water coming in. His answer is so definitive you beg him to respond holy fuck.
I don't see the exact vendor that I used at Amazon but search 41.5" Cree led bar and you are near certain to get the same model. They seems to always change vendors but I hear they are all the same
Great explanation of the interior process. Much appreciated. I’m installing 4 auxbeam 4” pods to my 08’ Xterra. Using one switch w/ 40A relay.
Very very bright off the hood and dirt on windshield. Helpfully mostly off-road going slow and general visibility for outdoor camp set up
I recently saw it on amazon for $60!!! ps mine is still working great with no issues so far
Great explanation, did it ever leaak?
Let's see a vid of that thing in action!
Do you have the link for this led bar on amazon??
Do you still need to drill a hole on the roof?

Did those screws come with the mounts?
How can you not have water leak?

I have a 2001 xterra i bought a light bar im having alot of trouble on figuring out to mount it do u live in jersey where we can meet up and help?
hey man did you need longer bolts for the brackets? mine arnt long enough, also any problems with water leaking into the interior?
no water leaks so far, bolts that came with it worked perfectly
I'm assuming your light bar came with mounts. Did you they work with the Xterra resulting in requiring you to buy the ones you're currently using?

Mikey C they will be wide enough but look bad and you will have to drill through plastic and metal
Kameron A thank you for your replies. If I have more questions, I'll ask.

Amazon changes it all the time... just search Cree 40" led light bar
Next time you should film it outside, in the daylight
