About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first RUclips channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!
As a kanaka maoli (Native Hawaiian), I have never felt more connected to the Filipino culture as I have through watching this video. Our cultural dances have so many similarities. We tell stories through hula (dances) and mele (songs) also. And it's not as easy to do as people think. Mahalo for sharing your culture with the world! 😊🤙🏼🌺

Greetings Mikey and family. OMGness, I love this video. Like yourself, I was born in Bicol (Naga City) but grew up in the US. I'm in the Foreign Service and so happy to announce that I got the Philippines post. I will be in Manila in July for at least 4 years. I barely knew the county where I was born from. This will give me great opportunity to know my motherland. Thank you so much for sharing everything about you and your family with us all. It certainly would be the icing on the cake of my Philippines tour to meet you, especially the ants, birds, Valentino and the dogs. Best regards my lovely.

wow!! i feel so proud to be pinoy! those dances and musical instruments are not easy at all. . i used to be a folk dancer way back when i was in grade school and high school and we would compete against all other schools through out the province! this video brings so much memories. . and i love the final product! all your efforts paid off! you all did great!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The music video for the parody turned out pretty great. It's the first time I heard about the Cotillion Dance, not gonna lie. Seems like it is a more traditional dance for a debut then since debuts these days tend to lean more towards being more modern, like the debutante having to dance with each of the 18 Roses which are male friends and relatives of the debutante.
