I agree with the liberty the subber took to relate to the audience. Even Mcdonald adapts it menu to the region. There is no way they would know about swift dzire, yamraj or ram raheem.

The subbers deserve a huge shoutout the subs where great giving them reference of what they could understand and don't get lost in jokes that only Indians can get.
Oh you guys finally did it. Bassi is the most hilarious stand up guy out there. Another one js zakir khan but subbing is dangerous in their cases. Most of their comic sense come from their accent. Great subs.
"Most Hilarious?" Are you kidding me right now? Neither of them are funny. In the Indian stand-up scene they're not even close to someone like a Karunesh Talwar or Biswa, or maybe even Upmanyu, but Karunesh is by far the best of the lot. Karunesh's jokes are witty and transcend geographical boundaries. Non-Desis will surely enjoy his stand-up more.

@@siddharthmehta6220 Upmanyu and bassi are both Overrated. Zakir, Biswa and karunesh have a natural comic timing, way of talking and unique styles.

The subs were great. They changed certain references to make sense for American/western audience without losing the humor of the joke.
A lot is usually lost in translation in comedy but here the subs were actually good and were able to capture the essence of the jokes.

Apart from being a comedian he's an excellent story teller... If u notice his standups aren't about random stuff but he brings back an incident that happened to him and present it to the audience in the form of story telling with funny punch lines. He's one of my favourites
