Great filming, I was fooled at first & thought someone is going to get wet feet! Would have been better with sound & also with someone wishing to trash their car!
Great countryside - 2.1 miles to go via the ford (and risk trashing your car when the ford is 2-3 metres deep) or 2.6 miles to go round the ford on the sensible route.
I've watched loads of videos from street level and never realised that there are road closed signs at either side of the ford. Yet people still drive through. 🤔
@@trikertrev Yeah I realise that as I can see the hinges where they fold away. It's just that they will have been folded open when it was at 3 feet deep yet there are plenty of videos of people driving through at that dangerous level.
@@thewhofan8020 They don't seam to worry about the road closed sign but sometimes the police are hiding to catch drivers who do go through at a rate of knotts.
@@trikertrev Ok got it. I was WAY off! I thought it was on the far side of the lake, but down in Rufford proper. I kept watching the videos around the ford, in hopes of getting a glimpse of it. I'll go back to watching cars splash😉

@@isaaclang6031 The entrance to the Abbey is off the main road a couple of hundred yards from the rufford ford turnoff.
