What i understand, The United States Congress is the legislature of the federal government. It is bicameral, composed of a lower body, the House of Representatives, and an upper body, the Senate. Senate can be juxtaposed with rajya sabha as each state has to pick 2 senators to represent a state. House of Representatives have elected members like the lok sabha. This may not be the exact comparison.
